With over 24 years of experience in Medical Physics and Radiation Safety (RS), I have successfully served as the Radiation Safety Department Supervisor at the Almana Group of Hospitals, overseeing facilities in Khobar, Dammam, Jubail, and Al Ahsa. I played a pivotal role in establishing and licensing the Nuclear Medicine and Radiology departments at the group’s hospitals.
In addition, I have developed and continuously enhanced the Medical Physics and Radiation Safety Department, focusing on cost reduction and income generation. As a key member of the hospital team, I have been responsible for setting up radiation areas and have led the radiation safety efforts for inspections and accreditations by JCIA, CBAHI, NRRC, SFDA, and MOH.
My responsibilities include managing the supervision of all radiation workers and radioactive sources across the hospitals, overseeing a dedicated team of 500 employees.
